How to Participate in ArtAuction24
ArtAuction24 is an exciting opportunity to support the Coalition on Homelessness while bidding on unique, locally produced art. Follow the steps below to join us in making a difference and take part in both our silent and live auctions.
Step 1: Secure Your Ticket
Click Here to secure your ticket to ArtAuction24. Tickets are required for entry to our live auction event on September 12th, 2024 at SOMArts Cultural Center.
Step 2: Register for Bidding
Once you’ve secured your ticket, Click Here to register as a bidder. You’ll receive a unique bidder number allowing you to place bids during both the online silent auction and the live auction event.
Step 3: Explore the Gallery
After registering, you’ll gain access to our gallery of over 200 pieces of art available for bidding in the silent auction. The silent auction opened on September 5th, so you can start bidding early before the live auction on September 12th at SOMArts Cultural Center at 934 Brannan Street in San Francisco.
Jooni us for ArtAuction24 from 5:30 PM – 10:00 PM as we celebrate the intersection of art and community organizing in the Coalition on Homelessness’ biggest fundraising night of the year! Support from individuals and sponsorships from likeminded organizations are the reason why we’re able to continue our advocacy programs. Community support from individuals led to our street publication, Street Sheet earning the honor of being the longest continuously running street paper in the country. For 35 years unhoused folks have been able to tell their stories, advocate for themselves and combat harmful dehumanizing rhetoric. That’s worth celebrating! You can be a part of htat celebration!

Explore and bid on over 150 stunning pieces of locally produced art, showcasing the talent and creativity of artists from all over the Bay Area. Our live auction will occur on September 12th at SOMArts Cultural Center , while the online silent auction kicks off on September 5th.
– **Complimentary Food & Drinks:**
Enjoy a curated selection of delicious food and drinks throughout the evening, all included with your ticket.
– **Live Music & DJ:**
Dance the night away with live music from the Celestial Hotties and a set by DJ Prince Saves, ensuring a lively and festive atmosphere.

ArtAuction24 is not just a celebration of art and community; it’s a crucial fundraising opportunity for folks to support our advocacy programs that allow for our Housing Justice and Human Rights organizing teams to build community with our unhoused and housed neighbors through our weekly public workshop meetings that directly supports our mission to end homelessness in San Francisco.
Your participation also helps keep our street paper, Street Sheet, running. For 35 years, the country’s longest-continuously operating street paper has amplified the voices of unhoused and formerly unhoused writers in San Francisco and through our Vending Program, hundreds of unhoused folks were able to earn income. None of these programs would be possible without our community’s support.
